Job Description / Responsibilities (all duties that you want this candidate to perform):
Handling all Electrical equipment and engineering practices in Installation, Testing and commissioning of Medium Voltage Equipments like Power Transformers, Circuit Breakers, and Isolators, Protection Panels etc.
To ensure that assigned construction activities are carried out according to schedule within construction budget and meeting safety and quality requirements.
To assure assigned activities are carried out according to schedule within construction budget and time line.
Ensuring Safety rules and standards with quality standards for construction and Switching and Earthing procedures
Liaise with client / consultant and contractor with for timely execution of the substations erecting projects.
Site Supervision, Project Management capability, MIS, Manpower mgmt, Material Reconciliation, Inventory Management, Material handling, Sub-Contractor Mgmt. completely responsible for Project Execution as Per Drawing and specification. Coordination with design and engineering team,
Desired profile of the candidate (Key Skills, knowledge, traits etc.) :
B.Tech /B.E/ Diploma. (Civil)
Min 3 to 7 Years Experience in the similar type of Projects ( Substation Erection Commissioning with & up to 330 kV substations)
Handling of large team of subcontractors
Handled Minimum 2 Projects independently as Project engineer
Worked in a reputable Electro-Mechanical company.
Effective leadership with Project Management Capability
Possession of sound managerial skills.
Strong communication, negotiation and reporting skills
Knowledge of project planning and latest engineering techniques.
Strong command of English –written & spoken.
Computer Literacy: Proficient in common software applications like MS Projects, AUTOCAD & MS Office.
